These roof areas are located at the Medical building and the Facilities manager’s office which had a lot of pedestrian traffic going in and out of the building. In addition Alcoa will only allow CFE to use scaffolding as a means of fall protection on roof areas that have a slope greater that 3 inches in 12 inches. We used a subcontractor to erect the scaffolding that was used for fall protection and provide protection for the pedestrians that passed along the building.
